Hexapod Tumbler Drum Tester Equipment
Hexapod tumbler tester, also known as carpet appearance assessment tester, is designed to determine the appearance maintenance ability of carpet. The tester is equipped with a cylinder and an improved hexapod drum cover. The Hexapod Tumbler Drum Tester Equipment Manufacturer G301 is mounted on the free floor standing device, vibrated by electricity. Ribbed rolling device mounted in the center is driven by variable speed motor to spray soil. The hopper and rolling device is mounted inside of the hexapod drum. The soil is directly sprayed on the carpet specimen installed inside of the drum via the hopper. The cylinder, 2.3kg, 205mm length x 63mm width, runs freely on the carpet specimen inside the drum. The improved hexapod drum cover makes it possible that the device can be used together with the existing hexapod device.

Testing Method:
1.Specimens of carpet are fastened to a flexible backing sheet with double-sided adhesive tape. This assembly is fitted on the inside surface of the drum and can easily be removed at any stage for inspection of the specimens under test. If required, an underlay may be fitted beneath the carpet for direct comparison with normal use.
2. The drive to the drum incorporates a reversing mechanism to give more realistic pile disturbance, and the required number of revolutions may be preset on a revolution counter. The 3.8kg tumbler has six polyurethane stud feet.
