Paper tearing tester test principle and operation steps:

1. Select a suitable pendulum or weight according to the sample, and the measurement reading should be within the range of 20%-80% of the full-scale value.

2. Lift the placement to the initial position, fix it with the release mechanism of the placement, and place half of the sample facing the knife and the other half facing the knife.

3. The sides of the sample should be neat, and the bottom edge should be in full contact with the bottom of the clamp and aligned and clamped.

4. Cut the sample into a neat knife edge with a knife, and return the knife to the resting position.

5. Without obstructing the position of the pointer, touch the pointer to the pointer stop and quickly press the release device of the hem.

6. Keep the pointer at the eye level of the operator, and read the pointer reading or digital display value. Release the clamp, remove the torn sample, return the pendulum and pointer to the original position, and prepare for the next measurement.

7. When the left and right deviation between the end of the tear line and the extension line of the knife edge exceeds 10mm for 1-2 samples in the test, it should be discarded.

8. Repeat the test, paper tearing tester test, until 5 satisfactory results.

9. If there are more than two samples with a deviation of more than 10mm, the results can be retained, but the deviation should be indicated in the report. If the sample peels during the tearing process, instead of tearing in the normal direction, it should be treated according to the tearing deviation described above.

10. The number of measured layers should be 4 layers. If the result is unsatisfactory, the number of layers can be increased or decreased appropriately, but it should be stated in the report.
