The tyres are responsible for carrying, steering, acceleration, deceleration and steering functions, each of which is closely related to the friction between the rubber and the tarmac, which is what we call grip, and of course, the more grip the better. Inevitably, this is accompanied by side effects such as fuel consumption, noise and lack of durability.

However, with the advancement of formulation technology, the better the grip is, the less wear resistant it is, so a high TW index does not necessarily mean that the grip is not good, but it is definitely more wear resistant than a low TW. In fact, "grip" is also marked with an index, also known as Traction, which is divided into three grades: A, B and C. A is the best, which means good grip.
