1. A coordinate measuring instrument is an instrument used to detect the size and positional errors of workpieces, and the primary requirement is that the accuracy index should meet the user's requirements. When selecting, it is generally possible to compare the required detection accuracy of the measured workpiece with the measurement uncertainty given by the measuring machine to see if the accuracy of the measuring machine meets the requirements.

2. Suitable type of measuring instrument for you

Three coordinate measuring instruments are divided into two categories based on their degree of automation: manual (or mobile) and CNC automatic control. When selecting, a balance should be made based on the batch size of the test object, the degree of automation, the technical level of the operators, and the size of the capital investment. Of course, the coordinate measuring instrument has high level and fast measurement speed, but the preparation time for measurement is long, the technical requirements are high, and the investment is large. Generally speaking, for medium-sized workpieces, a mobile bridge type is often used; For small workpieces, cantilever type, instrument desktop type, and mobile bridge type are often used; For large workpieces, gantry type is often used; For workpieces that require rotary measurement, a measuring machine with a indexing table can be selected.

3. Powerful measurement software

To measure complex measurement objects, the measuring machine should have rich measurement software support to complete measurement tasks. If certain software is missing, it can be requested from the manufacturer based on the tested object. If the manufacturer provides programming methods (which most manufacturers do not provide), they can also develop them themselves.
