How to use a grease smoke point tester

The oil and fat smoke point tester uses the Soxhlet extraction principle and weight measurement method to determine the fat content. Dissolve fat in organic flux, separate fat from the flux using extraction method, then dry, weigh, and calculate the fat content.

3. Digital temperature control, precise temperature control, simple and convenient operation.

Operation of Oil and Fat Smoke Point Tester

1. Turn on the lower power switch on the right side of the instrument and the display will light up. Press the setting button, and the upper temperature display will display the word "50", while the lower small display will jump;

2. Press the move button, and the small display numbers will change and jump one by one. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to set the number of displays that jump sequentially, and the setting is complete;

3. Press the setting button again, the small display stops jumping, the set value appears, and the setting is confirmed;

4. The large display window displays the temperature value.

As the temperature rises, the large display number changes, and the instrument automatically tracks and controls it. When approaching the set temperature of 42 ℃, the instrument automatically switches to a temperature control rate of 5-6 ℃ per minute;

5. Calculate the smoke point based on numerical values.

This instrument mainly consists of three parts: heating extraction, flux recovery, and cooling. During operation, the heating temperature can be adjusted according to the boiling point of the reagent and the ambient temperature. The sample can be repeatedly soaked and extracted during the extraction process to achieve rapid measurement.
