Peak width requirements for chromatography

There is no requirement for liquid phase peak width, and there should not be any requirement. Because, compared to system analysis, when the peak patterns are similar, of course, the higher the peak, the wider the peak width, and the narrower the peak width when the peak height is smaller. At the same time, the smaller the retention time, the wider the peak generally becomes, while the wider the peak that emerges later, the narrower the front and wider the back, which we often fish for.

Because peak width is related to peak height and retention time, as well as peak shape, as long as the separation degree is achieved and the peak symmetry factor is within our required range, it is sufficient.
