The Foam Fatigue Testing Machine is a single-station pneumatically driven testing machine. In its standard configuration, it applies a constant load cyclically; a constant displacement mode is also available as an option.
Standards:
This testing machine meets the requirements of ASTM D 3574-03. "Constant Force Impact Dynamic Fatigue Testing."
Features:
1. A PLC-based controller with a color touchscreen display works in conjunction with a 500-pound force sensor and signal conditioner, providing a constant cycle rate of 70 cycles per minute and a proven peak force of 750 Newtons (other sizes, rates, and peak forces are available upon request). The machine compresses foam onto a vented grid beneath the foam specimen. This machine is designed for standard square foam specimens.
2. A variety of indenters are available, but the standard indenter meets the requirements of ASTM D3574.
3. It also offers a gantry-style installation, capable of detecting any location on a mattress (or other large foam surface), suitable for sizes ranging from single to king-size beds.
