Using rotary wear test to test the wear resistance of fabrics, it is often used for testing automotive interior materials.

Product details:

For fabrics, wear resistance is an important indicator to measure their performance and durability. During the experiment, friction is applied to the rotating specimen in the tangential direction through friction components to determine the wear resistance of the specimen.

The Shaw abrasion tester can be used to test the surface changes of specimens after friction or wear tests, and is a recommended testing method according to DIN 53863.2, GME Standard 60345, GMW Standard 3283, and VW/Audi Zentral Norm PV 3908 standards.

Product structure:

The instrument design is compact and sturdy, including a clamping device for a blunt angle conical chuck, a loading platform for fixing the friction head, and a control and driving unit. All components are designed reasonably and easy to operate. For the convenience of preparing and lightly clamping the sample, the instrument is equipped with an adjustable ring wrench to test the expansion height. During the experiment, the sample is placed on the friction head plane and subjected to a rotational motion for friction, with a friction area of approximately 50cm.

Operating instructions:

The operation menu is displayed on a touch screen and can be selected for manual or automatic control. After every 100 friction cycles, the instrument will automatically stop to allow the operator to change the direction of rotation.
