Precautions for the use of digital magnetostrictive level gauges

1. After being put into use for a period of time, the digital magnetostrictive level gauge showed that the float could not float up and the float movement failed. This is fundamentally due to the presence of iron pins or other waste on the magnetic float. You can first drain all the material, then remove the float and eliminate the iron pins or other waste stuck on the magnetic float.

2. During on-site calibration, one may inadvertently notice that the float lacks dexterity in moving left and right. This is mostly caused by poor digital magnetostrictive level gauge equipment. At this time, it is important to pay attention to whether the management centers of the left and right flanges are on the same line and whether they are vertical with the horizontal plane. Generally speaking, the angle of intersection with the horizontal plane should not be less than 87 degrees. If the weight is too large, it will endanger the smooth movement of the float.

3. When using an intrinsic safety level gauge, it is important to pay attention to whether the characteristic impedance of the digital magnetostrictive level gauge and the safety barrier can be paired.

4. The calibration of the digital magnetic levitation level gauge is normal, but after being put into use, it was found that the float exhibited a suction state in a certain area for a period of time. This is mainly caused by the distance between the magnetostrictive level gauge and the thick steel plate when it passes through the steel service platform equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to pay close attention to the distance between the wall thickness of the connecting pipe of the liquid level gauge and the laser cutting border line of the service platform when passing through the steel service platform equipment.

5. During the entire application process of the digital magnetostrictive liquid level gauge, if the output data signal causes frequent oscillations or affects single pulses, it is necessary to check whether the shielding layer of the communication cable can be firmly grounded, and whether the connection to the resistor during operation can be considered.

6. When the digital magnetostrictive level gauge is put into use on the spot, it is important to pay close attention to opening the upper stop valve first and then the lower stop valve. It is because the bottom of the connecting pipe of the magnetostrictive level gauge is equipped with a maintenance float with a yellow thrust spring. Otherwise, the effect of high gas pressure will damage the float, making the level gauge unusable.

7. If the sealed glass test tube used for on-site labeling breaks due to transportation or other reasons, it can be replaced with domestic glass test tubes. But it can be vacuum packaged. Also, pay attention to whether the glass test tube can be vertical to prevent damage to the indicator's markings.

8. When using a digital magnetostrictive liquid level gauge, it is important to be careful not to use a strong magnet to drive the float outside the connecting pipe to stop the inspection, otherwise it may cause the magnetic float to be magnetized and modified, resulting in the weakening of the float's magnetic field and the inability to work normally.
