1. Function and Application
The Wyzenbeek Abrasion Tester is a four-station oscillatory abrasion tester designed to determine the abrasion resistance of textiles, vinyl, leather, stitched seams, and other surface materials. Each station holds a specimen taut and uses contoured foam rubber pads to apply consistent down pressure against an oscillating drum. The drum, covered with cotton duck fabric or wire mesh screen, abrades the specimen for a specified number of cycles under controlled conditions.
This CE-compliant version is engineered to meet international safety and electrical standards, making it ideal for both industrial and laboratory environments.
