   Test principle:
 
When the single-stitch method is torn, a force triangle is formed at the fabric crack. When the stressed weft yarns in the sample gradually separate up and down, the warp yarns that are not directly stressed begin to slide relative to the stressed weft yarns, and gradually move closer together to form an approximate triangular area. At the bottom of the tear opening, the warp yarns in the stressed triangle are under tension together, and the triangle bottom side is closer to the front warp yarn, and the other warp yarns are gradually weakened according to a certain load level difference.
 
   Due to the frictional resistance between the yarns, sliding is limited. During sliding, the tension of the warp yarns increases rapidly, and the deformation elongation also increases sharply. When the front warp that constitutes the base of the stressed triangle is stretched to breaking elongation, this warp breaks, and the stressed state of the second warp immediately transforms into the state before the break of the front warp. Repeatedly, warp one Continuous breaks one after another, forming a knife-cut-like fracture surface. It can be seen that when the single-stitch method is torn, the broken yarn is the yarn of the non-tension system, and the direction of the tensile force is perpendicular to the original axis of the broken yarn.
